Cleveland, Columbus Ohio Irrigation Report: September 2009
The watering season for Ohio is starting to descend and here is a few weeks you will be able to turn your system off for the season and have it winterized before the first frost. With the cooler temperatures you can decrease your station run times accordingly. You can decrease your seasonal adjustment by 20-30% at this time. Once the temperatures average close to 70 you can either turn your system off or just run a manual cycle as needed. This will not only reduce your water bill but more importantly it will conserve water.
